Espinas

Espinas are generally passive and docile flying wyverns that inhabit forest and jungle regions, however when provoked they become relentlessly aggressive and violent; using the venomous thorns located around their bodies to inflict serious wounds to would-be-attackers. In addition, their fire contains a lethal concoction of toxins that can inflict fireblight, poison, and paralysis in one go! These wyverns are listed as "Elder Dragon Level" monster, and ancient records suggest that Espinas have fought and defeated elder dragons before.
